The site of the work is situated near Gandhinagar (Gujarat State Capital)
on the banks of River Sabarmati.

The Package of the work consists of:
1. Construction of approach bridge of 135.21 metre length with a
span of 33.80 metre and height of 18.50 metre
2. Construction of high Embankment.
3. Construction of masonry walls.
4. Construction of R. C. C. works, piers, abutments up to 18.50 metre height.
5.Construction of R. C. C. works for Pedestals for laying of steel pipes.

Project Cost
The estimated cost of the package is Rs. 326.00 Lacs. (Year 1991-92)

16 Months

Project was for Ash disposal plant for Gandhinagar Thermal Power Station of Gujarat Electricity Board (A Government of Gujarat under taking) including pedestals for pipe lines and using heavy steel girders, channels, angles, beams and steel plates.

The estimated cost of the Project is Rs. 115.00 lacs. (Year 1989-90) (The materials like steel, structural steel, cement were provided free of cost by the client.

Strengthening of Machchhu-I Irrigation Scheme
(A World Bank Aided Project)

Location
The dam site is situated across river Machchhu near village Jalsika, of Wankaner Taluka, Rajkot District.

The works executed under the project are:

1. Construction of Earthen bund on both the flanks of waste weir.
2. Construction of 210 m. long Ground Bar Waste Weir.
3. 30 feet (9.0 m.) Deep Hard Rock cutting for Waste-Weir
4. Approach and Tail Channel works.

Project Cost
The estimated cost of the Project was
Rs. 77.38 lacs. (Year 1987-88)

20 Months

Project was for Strengthening of Machchu -I Irrigation Scheme.
